Andrew Rotz is a Certified Financial Planner™ with Fruitful — a financial wellness platform that provides members with financial advice and market information. Prior to Fruitful, Andrew worked as an Investment Consultant with Fidelity, served as the Director of Personal Finance and Financial Literacy - College of Veterinary Medicine at North Carolina State University, and ran his own financial planning firm.
Andrew is also a US Navy Reservist, where he currently serves as Lieutenant Commander. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Florida and his Master's Degree in Business Administration from North Carolina State University with a focus in Finance.
Andrew enjoys the "Ah-HA!" moments that occur when concepts and ideas really click. That impactful relief is what keeps his passion for his work so strong. He loves helping clients identify and pursue tactics that will help them achieve their life goals and maintain financial wellness.
When he’s not crunching numbers, Andrew enjoys spending time at North Carolina’s museums, breweries, lakes, beaches, and mountains. He and his wife balance parenting two boys, while focusing on their careers, and making time for their passions like equestrian, sports, school, and travel — all while prioritizing financially responsible.
